Job Title: Sales Engineer
Location: Catalonia & Balears
Job Overview: As a Sales Engineer, you will drive sales activities within the geographical area under the Water Utility Division, enabling sales growth and market share growth within your customer platform. You will be responsible for following the guidelines and standards of Grundfos, including the Grundfos Code of Conduct and Grundfos values.
Key Responsibilities:Ensure sales and technical support to the customer platform by executing and following up on quotations according to customer inquiries and/or market specifications (30%);Continuous negotiation of opportunities to deliver agreed sales targets, monthly and yearly budget (30%);Regular meetings with the Water Utility Division Sales Manager to cover Pipeline + Forecast and End-User systematic approach, executing agreed follow-up activities to increase chances of success (10%);Record all activities related to Customer Relationship Management in line with company procedures using our CRM package (5%);Update customers' database, opportunities, and quotation/negotiation status in the CRM (5%);Develop a robust process to monitor each opportunity, enabling order success using our SAP CRM tools (5%);Collect and report market information about price positioning, competitor identification, and competitor activities for segment-related products (5%);Work closely with the Marketing department to plan and execute marketing activities for segment-related products (5%);Quarterly updates on agreed business plan/action plans (5%).Minimum Requirements:University Degree or Master Level, preferably within Engineering and/or Sales, or extensive sales background in the pump business;Preferably some years of experience in sales within the Water Utility market, in the Catalonia region;High level of English;Computer literate (Microsoft applications, SAP, etc.).
