Job Title : Sales Engineer

Division : Minerals

Location : Remote, Madrid Spain

Purpose of Role : We are seeking a dynamic and solutions-focused Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with internal departments to support business development and the sale of Original Equipment, ensuring that customer requirements are met with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities : Provide exceptional technical support to customers. Analyse specifications and utilise simulation software to select the most suitable equipment for customer applications. Assist in the preparation of detailed and competitive Original Equipment quotations and bids. Oversee order fulfilment requirements to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Travel to key accounts to identify and develop new business opportunities. Support aftermarket sales through site visits and collaboration with other departments. Conduct engaging product presentations and training sessions to educate clients. Cultivate a deep understanding of Weir's products and services. Represent Weir Minerals at industry exhibitions and trade shows to showcase our offerings. Demonstrate unwavering commitment to our zero harm behaviors, contributing to the development of a world-class safety culture. Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Mining, Industrial, Civil Engineering or equivalent. Proven experience in the mining industry, particularly in customer-facing roles. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Willingness to travel extensively, up to 60% of the time.
