.Sales Engineer - Service Provider - Service Provider Key Account Team - Native fluency in Spanish - Madrid basedAbout the Position: Your role as Sales Engineer in Juniper's Service Provider Key Account Team will be instrumental in developing new business areas and technical propositions within our customer.
Based on Juniper's portfolio, you will assist in developing technology-driven new services, whilst simplifying customers' solution designs and automating customer operation.
This role will enable you to leverage and broaden your sales and technical skills in a close collaboration with other functions within the account team, such as post-sales and delivery.Responsibilities:Develop and execute technical sales plans and proposals (RFP, RFQ) to grow Juniper's business in a driven and opportunity-filled sales environment.Originate and architect detailed design, engineering, and implementation specifications for next-generation networks and solutions.Use your outstanding industry and product knowledge to engage and influence customer technology strategies through showcasing Juniper innovative technologies during technical sales presentations, customer technology events, product demonstrations, proof of concept, and trial engagements.Build, develop, and maintain strong professional relationships with customer technical decision-makers and industry partner community.Continuously learn and stay ahead of the industry and competitive solutions, products, and services.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical/pre-sales role as a Sales or Systems Engineer.Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and related field or equivalent experience.Fluency in Spanish (native language) and English.Experience designing/engineering Routing, MPLS, SR, EVPN, LAN/WAN, Security, and Cloud technology solutions.Experience working with large enterprises and/or service providers.Track record of creating and driving technology solutions from conception to conclusion.Knowledge of Juniper product line, key competitors, and vertical market use cases.Confirmed understanding of networking industry technologies across routing, switching, security, and software technology domains.Strong interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills with experience in customer-facing sales activities.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced Knowledge in WAN network design (SR, BGP VPNs, MPLS, TE, QoS).Datacenter network design (EVPN/VXLAN, Clos architectures, underlay Fabric).Network Security (NGFW, UTM, DDoS, IPSec, MACSec, SIEM).Network Controller (PCEP, BGP-LS, NETCONF/YANG).Proficient understanding of emerging technology areas, such as AI/ML and Virtualization solutions.DevOps knowledge with proficiency in automation using e.G.
Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, YANG, JSON, Netconf or Ansible.Familiarization with Linux operating systems.JNCIE, CCIE, or other expert-level industry certification is desired
