Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.OVERVIEW & SCOPE OF ROLE: The Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating new business with both new and existing customers as described in essential duties and responsibilities below:Responsibilities: To achieve sales, pricing, and margin targets of the business.Act as primary contact for assigned customers and business opportunities.To identify, nurture, and convert new business opportunities in the target markets.Work with all departments across sites to ensure processes and products are developed to meet customer requirements.Developing and implementing action plans to ensure successful conversion of NBDP (New Business Development Pipeline) both directly and through distributors and alliances.Deliver rolling customer sales forecasts for assigned book of business based on comprehensive studies of the industry, market trends, past performance, and customer demand.Continually review industry trends and competitor pricing to determine the competitiveness of products; Recommend price changesas conditions warrant in keeping with the profit goals of the division.To ensure that the NBDP and Share of Wallet (SoW) document contains up-to-date information pertaining to all current and known opportunities.To comply with relevant trade, export, and RBP (Responsible Business Programme) policies and legislation.Utilise Morgan CRM to manage all sales and marketing data including customer visit reports, quotes, NBDP, SoW, competitor information, and any other relevant information.To be committed to and champion a strong EHS culture.Perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time, related to sales and marketing.Qualifications: BS degree in technical area, with preference to mechanical, materials science, or electrical engineering.Min 5 years sales experience in Power Plants market in the region.Understanding of electrical motor technologies is preferred, alternative relevant knowledge, experience in Power Plants; Energy.Proficiencyin French and Spanish is essential.
