Job Details To support the growth of our BAS (Building Automation Systems) and Digital Transformation Systems Strategy, we are currently looking for a: Sales Engineer Building Automation Systems What you will do The professional selected will be responsible for the growth in the vertical market Building automation and HVAC systems (solutions and services for building automation) and Digital solutions for healthy buildings.
How you will do it Market: Follow up and understanding of the market landscape: players (including their internal dynamics), suppliers, competitors, professional associations, regulatory bodies, regulations, market share, etc.
Main point of contact to professional associations.
Attendance to market specific events.
Market prospect to identify and capture new customers.
Relationships: Establish long term business relationships with C-level executives and other decision makers.
Develop the necessary partnerships and alliances with external integrators and other business partners to provide leverage in each strategic account and opportunity.
Establish effective collaboration with key internal partners in the organization, especially in the following areas: Industry, Marketing, Service, Global Products and Digital Solutions.
Establish effective collaboration with Operations department, in order to grant a successful hand over of projects from sales to execution and to support project managers in solving any sales related issue.
Marketing (in collaboration with Marketing partners): Promotion of JCI products, services and solutions.
Organization of market specific events.
Business plan ownership: co-development, co-maintenance and disciplined execution.
Definition of target accounts and key decision makers.
Understanding of their tasks, needs and pains.
Development of tailored solutions to match these needs, tasks and pains with the portfolio of JCI products and services.
Disciplined execution of the go-to-market action plan.
Prospect of new customers and opportunities.
Development of leads and opportunities into sales.
Hand over from sales to execution.
Products and solutions: Understand in detail the portfolio of products and services of the organization.
Continuously keep up to date in regards of this portfolio.
Collaborate with Global Products partners to identify key products for the market, forecast demand, identify gaps, identify improvements, collaborate on special opportunities, etc.
Collaborate with Digital Services partners to identify key digital offerings for the market, forecast demand, identify gaps, identify improvements, collaborate on special opportunities, etc.
What we are looking for Technical Education Engineering education.
Minimum experience of 5 years in sales of complex solutions and services to end users.
Proven track record of business growth: discovering new opportunities, customers and especially, development of new strategic relationships.
Spanish English Fluent.
Salesforce experience.
Excellent team and communication skills.
Responsibility and integrity.
Autonomous and self-organized.
Comfortable working with clear targets.
Willingness to travel.
