About the Job As the Sales & Operational Director Iberia, you will be responsible for overseeing both the commercial and operational activities within the region, with a key focus on driving growth and profitability.
What you will do as a Director Sales & Operations Iberia Commercial Focus (70%): You will lead a team of 6 Business Development Managers, driving growth in Spain and Portugal through both expanding existing accounts and acquiring new customers.
You will manage the revenue and performance in a data-driven manner, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
Operational Responsibilities (30%): You will oversee operations, including a warehouse with approximately 25-40 FTE and a customer service department of 7 FTE.
Both the Warehouse Manager and Customer Service Manager will report directly to you.
Operations are primarily managed by the Warehouse Manager, with the team in a matrix structure and a dotted line to the Central Operations Team.
Additional Responsibilities: You will have oversight of marketing and pricing, supported by two dedicated local FTE.
Your role also includes collaboration with local and international finance teams to enhance profitability.
You will contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&Op), forecasting, and product implementation efforts with Supply Chain and Category Managers.
Stakeholder Engagement: You will communicate and negotiate with key stakeholders, including logistics partners and key account customers, whose decisions directly impact profitability.
Travel & Collaboration: Frequent travel to customers across the region will be required, as well as daily calls with your direct reports and other departments such as logistics, supply chain, and product management.
You will be actively involved in quarterly tasks related to forecasting, budgeting, and pricing.
This role is a mix of strategic leadership, operational management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the continued growth and profitability of the Iberian business.
You will report to both the Commercial and Operational Director Aftermarket and CEO.
What do you bring as Sales & Operational Director Iberia A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar management role, ideally in a commercial and operational environment.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in driving revenue growth.
Experience in the AM industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong leadership qualities with a hands-on approach.
Experience in budget management and optimizing operational processes.
Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
Professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plus.
