Overview:
Role purpose/Objective:
A sales development representative (SDR) is an inside sales representative that focuses on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. SDRs don't focus on closing business, but connecting with as many leads as possible and determining if they're good customer fits.
SDRs move leads through the sales pipeline. They connect and learn about their businesses and needs. If a prospect is a good fit, SDRs schedule next steps with the relevant sales reps in the organization.
This role has responsibility for uncovering and creating opportunities within existing clients as well as prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage high volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and other channels, for Italian market
Uncover potential opportunities across the customer lifecycle (new business, upsell/cross-sell) for the sales organization
Partner closely with account executives and marketing to develop and implement outreach strategies for your leads
Conduct qualifying calls with prospective buyers and create next steps including scheduling meetings for account executives for further qualification
Progress in the program – you will have goals across performance as well as skill development set up for you to achieve your career progression from business development into sales or other departments
Key Performance Indicators:
Meet and exceed the defined opportunity and pipeline creation metrics (monthly)
# of outbound calls and emails
# of opportunities created
# of meetings set and kept

What you must have done already:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Prior sales experience
Evidence of continually exceeding targets
What is nice to have done already:
Working knowledge and experience of the Architecture, Engineering and Construction markets
Qualifications:
You are a native Spanish speaker AND fluent in English.
Strong empathy for customers AND passion for sales challenges
Ability to problem-solve and think outside of the box to meet company expectations
You know how to multitask and are a quick learner
Ambitious, driven, and competitive mind-set.
