Job Description We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Sales Development Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading our business growth by identifying and converting leads into sales opportunities, researching market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the buyer journey.

Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Conversion:
Utilize a combination of outreach strategies, based on market data and competitor insights, to engage with existing cold, warm, and hot leads, ensuring regular and impactful follow-ups.Implement effective lead nurturing techniques to convert prospects into sales qualified leads (SQLs) ready for closure by the sales team.Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients by consistently identifying new business opportunities on online (e.g. Social Media) and offline (e.g. industry events) avenues and initiating conversation and discovery.Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to develop cohesive strategies for engaging clients throughout the buyer lifecycle.Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align business development initiatives with overarching company goals.Provide valuable feedback to the marketing team to optimize lead generation campaigns and messaging strategies.Relationship Building:
Use market insights to cultivate strong relationships and proactively engage with partners, clients, prospects, and industry stakeholders to develop joint offerings, and develop tailored and scalable solutionsMaintain strong relationships with industry partners to enhance business development efforts, drive brand awareness and keep them informed and up to date about Ulula solution development.Act as a brand ambassador by representing the company at networking events, conferences, and industry forums. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in sustainability, social impact, business management or other relevant fields (Master's degree preferred, but not compulsory).Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in the sustainability, responsible sourcing and/or social compliance space, for a minimum of two years.Fluency in English (required) and proficiency in German (optional): written and spokenA network of relationships within the sustainability, social compliance and responsible sourcing communities (preferred).Strong understanding of social enterprise sales, with prior experience in lead generation, nurturing and conversion.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.Strategic thinker with a keen eye for market trends and opportunities.Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant business development tools.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence key stakeholders.
