We are looking for an exceptional team member to work as part of our Global Business Development team, to lead and execute strategic OEM business development in the Americas. This is a critical role to build and leverage existing leadership of Zebra and future growth outside of our core markets.
The Business Development Manager will be part of the "Global Business Development team". This team includes Business Development functions for Global Partners and OEM. The team is part of the Global Sales organization. The team provides business development support to the regional and local sales teams based in the countries. This role will also be tasked with defining if new routes or channels to market are required and making recommendations to senior management as to what this "Go-to-Market" model would consist of, define the business development needs for this market and develop pertinent contacts in the industry.
Must be in the US Central or Eastern region with close proximity to an airport. Up to 10% travel expected. Responsibilities: Develop multi-million $ business for our OEM business including data capture and machine vision technologies in different use cases that change our daily lives.Qualify prospects and consult about business challenges and requirements, acting like a business partner for game-changing companies.Be a 'Zebra Global Sales' advocate to customers, partners, and Zebra regional sales teams. Make presentations to in- and external prospects and stakeholders.Develop business development strategy jointly with the global/regional OEM sales teams and different stakeholders.Build partnerships and overall ecosystem for Zebra offerings.Foster tight linkage between sales, marketing, product, and legal organizations.Manage business development activities together with in-country resources across regions.Develop the right senior and mid-level relationships within your predefined target list in various industries to model/build out new market opportunities.Lead and coordinate multi-functional teams to ramp up pipeline growth.Work closely with marketing to create and showcase the value of Zebra.Coordinate with regional/in-country resources, own and lead demand generation, and business development initiatives.Engage with and support other regional members of the Business Development team and the regional/in-country Zebra resources dedicated to specific accounts.Appropriate sales forecasting in line with standard Zebra processes.Meet/exceed pipeline and bookings goals.Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or equivalent experience.1+ years of applicable work experience in a business development role - Zebra Internship preferred.Master Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint.Applies Solution Selling concepts to customer situations.Must be willing to travel up to 10%.Must be in the US Central or Eastern region.Preferred Qualifications: Go-getter mentality and an optimistic, entrepreneurial mindset.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, good listening, and presentation skills; Salesforce experience is a plus.Demonstrable business development skills in the world of global systems integrators.A passion for and background in technology that changes our daily life.Comprehensive understanding of vertical market (healthcare, manufacturing, retail) marketing and business development.Must be able to effectively coordinate across various groups and functional teams both inside and outside of the business.Self-starter who enjoys working in a team to accomplish goals.Good attention to detail.Understands policies and practices related to role and shares ideas for improvement.Ability to travel when needed.#LI-Remote

Salary: USD 59500.00 - USD 89300.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
