The Team:
The ideal candidate will be joining the Sales Compensation Team, with team members located in North America and Europe.
The Role:
You will play a critical role in the operationalization of incentive compensation plans across the Sales, and broader Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. The role will drive global consistency, data quality, processing accuracy, and develop and track metrics to assess effectiveness. This is a key role responsible for driving processes to match our rapid scaling and meet month close deadlines.
The work you'll do:
Manage the end to end process of sales compensation administration. This includes but not limited to reviewing and setting up new hires, transfers and terminations, quota, territory and comp plan changes
Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of sales commission data, quota attainment and calculations on a monthly basis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on business requirements and drive continuous improvements
Focus on customer service, enablement, and communication to build a positive working relationship with the Sales organization
Timely resolution of inquiries and disputes from comp plan participants
Maintaining the commission systems and updating system setups
Document, improve, and automate all processes, including quotas and targets, crediting, and performance reporting, and comp plan issuance
Assist in pulling data for reporting needs and ad-hoc analysis
Progressive opportunities to partner with Sales and GTM leadership to drive strategic comp plan design
The qualifications you need:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
2+ years of experience in Sales Compensation, financial analysis or related roles
Experience in the SaaS industry is a major plus
Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheet functionalities
Excellent communication skills and being able to establish credibility, build consensus, and partner cross-functionally without direct authority
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to meet deadlines
Experience with Varicent, Xactly, or other compensation system is a plus
Full professional proficiency in English is a must. Other languages (e.g. Spanish or German) are a plus.
