The yacht operates in the Mediterranean and winters in Spain.
Initial joining will be in Palma de Mallorca.

Position overview: Title: Captain Type: Permanent License: Master 500, Master 3000 preferred Yacht: 45-50m range Charter Sailing Yacht Program: Mediterranean season, wintering in Spain Start Date: Early 2025 Joining Location: Palma de Mallorca Tasks Lead and manage a multinational crew of 9.
Ensure safe yacht operations, including navigation and compliance with maritime regulations.
Maintain technical systems, including engineering and rigging.
Provide excellent seamanship and sailing skills.
Collaborate with the owner and yacht managers transparently, discreetly and professionally.
Mentor crew and maintain a positive working environment.
Requirements Broad experience with 45-50m sailing yachts.
Master 500 or greater preferred, ENG1, B1/B2 Visa, valid STCW.
Strong navigation and seamanship.
Technical knowledge of sailing yacht systems, especially Italian-built vessels.
Proven crew management and communication abilities.
Hardworking, detail-oriented, and disciplined.
Empathetic leader with a sense of humor.
