RESPONSIBILITIESAs Safety Technician, you will support the Safety Department at our Castellbisbal site. Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in the preparation and implementation of risk assessments, including updating existing assessments and compiling data from various plant areas.Supporting the update of documentation within the integrated Safety Management System by gathering information and preparing system reviews.Updating procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance and safety standards.Collaborating on the development of training documentation in alignment with the Annual Safety Planning, while maintaining up-to-date training records.Providing administrative support for various Safety Department tasks.Creating and updating concise safety instructions, data sheets, and risk assessments as needed.Participating in plant visits and the investigation of occupational accidents and diseases.Conducting audits for work permits and facilitating initial training for new colleagues.Preparing necessary documentation for Safety Commissions and assisting in emergency drills.Regularly updating safety instructions in the field to ensure ongoing compliance and safety awareness.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field, along with an official Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention.Experience in a similar position, particularly with EHS tools for task risk assessment and safety and hazardous substances assessment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.Fluent in both English and Spanish.Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.BENEFITSWe offer a wide range of responsibilities and improve the opportunities for our employees with on-the-job training, supported by an involved and competent team.
