Safety Software Quality Engineer (m/f/d) REQUISITION ID: 8809 LOCATION: Sarriguren, ES, 31621 Hamburg, DE, 22419 The software quality assurance team at Nordex is responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of the QA environment, including automated testing of all software products developed by Nordex.
This team ensures that all requirements resulting from software development or practical experience are taken into account in future development.
YOUR TASKS Functional safety is a fundamental aspect of wind turbine software; the Safety Software Quality Engineer (m/f/d) is responsible for the corresponding test routines.
Creating and reviewing technical documentation and test specifications, particularly in the area of the Machinery Directive and ISO 13849-2.
Carrying out software tests for quality assurance in the field of wind turbine automation technology and configuring and using real-time simulation systems for wind turbines.
New and further development of the auto test system with regard to regression tests during the software release process for wind turbines.
Automate tests with the help of a test sequencer (Exam MicroNova).
Technical clarification and implementation of software specifications in the auto test system as well as creation of the associated software documentation.
Close cooperation with various departments in an international environment.
YOUR PROFILE Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Automation Technology.
Knowledge of the Machinery Directive and the ISO 13849-2 process.
Knowledge of Ethernet technology, bus systems and real-time simulation systems.
Good knowledge of the Python programming language.
Experience with Atlassian Jira/XRay is an advantage.
Ideally certified software tester according to ISTQB.
Team player with strong communication skills and intercultural competence.
High results orientation and quality awareness.
Initiative as well as responsible, structured and sustainable way of working.
Fluent English, ideally skills in Spanish and German.
