Safety Officer 3 And Pollution Control Officer

Job Qualification: Graduate of Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferably licensed; At least 3-5 years' experience in Safety, Security, Health, Environment and Quality discipline in Manufacturing Industry or any process related to vehicle assembly; Preferably an accredited DOLE-OSH Practitioner or an equivalent Qualified Safety Officer 3 with 40hr-BOSH Certificate, 24hr-OSH Programming Certificate, 24hr-TOT, 40hrs-LCM, 8hr-HIRAC and Integrated Management System Auditor Course. Preferably an accredited DENR-Pollution Control Officer or with unexpired 40hr-Basic Pollution Control Officer Course. Job Description: Oversee the overall management of the OSH program in coordination with the OSH committee; Frequently monitor and inspect any health or safety aspect of the operation being undertaken with the participation of supervisors and workers; Assist government inspectors in the conduct of safety and health inspection at any time whenever work is being performed or during the conduct of an accident investigation by providing necessary information and OSH reports as required by the OSH standards; Develop, implement and promote occupational safety and health programs in the workplace. Ensure compliance with the requirements of PO 1586, RA 6969, RA 8749, RA 9003, RA 9275, their respective implementing rules and regulations (IRRs), and other pertinent rules and regulations; Ensure the proper performance, operation, and maintenance of environmental management facilities or systems of the establishment. Prepare an annual report of safety and health programs of establishments. Job Type: Full-time
