Could you be the full-time Safety Assurance Engineer in Madrid we're looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your safety expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside young and proactive teammates.
You'll perform the activities (under the governance/guidance of the PSAM) related to safety assurance in the projects.
Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, etc.), have a working knowledge of Safety Methods: Safety Plan, Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Interface Hazard Analysis (IHA), Operation & Support Hazard Analysis (OSHA), Safety related Item List (SRIL), Hazard Log (HL), V&V Safety Report, and Safety Case and much more.
You'll specifically take care of delivering/performance Safety analysis under the guidance of the PSAM, with the strict application of process as per Signalling Safety Instruction, but also participating in the elaboration of the Safety Reports and the Safety Case under the guidance of the PSAM.
We'll look to you for:
Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project/system/product.
Attend periodic Safety Reviews.
Support actions contributing to close the findings of the assessors (Internal or External).

Engineering degree.
Specific training in Railway Safety Domain.
Minimum 3 years in Safety Assurance in connected Railway Signalling Safety Projects (IXL and/or ERTMS track and/or ERTMS ONB and/or CBTC).
Spanish and English are mandatory.
French is desired.
Successful experience in working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment.
