Job Title: SAC Planning Expert
Summary of the Role:
Finance Analytics is the delivery area within the Data and Analytics department with the focus on the reporting and planning processes of the Amadeus Finance function.
As SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) expert, you will contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the Amadeus SAC Platform supporting the Amadeus Planning Hub (APH), focusing on CCOP (Cost Center Operational Plan), BPOP (Business Portfolio Operational Plan), and FFC (Financial Forecast).
This position is an internal customer-facing role and requires the ability to design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain SAC planning and reporting processes meeting internal customer needs while keeping the processes and solutions as standard and integrated as possible.
Scope:
Finance Analytics and Planning Services (Visualizations, Data Integration and modeling, Machine Learning, etc.).
Supporting globally end users in all Business Units and Corporate Functions.
Answering a wide range of company information needs for decision making.
Your main responsibilities:
Automated Solution Identification: Advise internal customers on business Analytics services, recommend potential solutions based on high-level business requirements, and provide high-level implementation sizing.
Solution Design: Collect and document detailed business specifications, analyze functional design and propose technical designs, validate proposed solution designs, and challenge business demands to avoid duplications or inefficiencies.
Solution Construction: Develop or customize end-to-end solutions, follow up and monitor the overall construction, conduct tests ensuring quality, optimize the solution based on test results, and produce necessary documentation.
Solution Maintenance and Support: Perform L3 support, propose enhancements, and secure adequate governance in a community of SAC superusers.
Solution Architecture: Identify, propose, and implement architecture improvements, configure data source connections, define best practices for SAC deployment, and participate in overall data platform architecture and strategy.
Team Engagement: Assist, guide, and support team members, actively participate in agile ceremonies, and contribute to increasing team engagement.
About our ideal candidate:
Deep experience in SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) with a focus on Planning functionalities.
Experience with SAP-powered IT landscapes, especially the BI suite.
Data modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level.
Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models.
Fluency in English; French and/or Spanish are a plus.
Excellent understanding of planning processes in large corporations.
Excellent analysis skills in Business Intelligence/Analytics.
Financial foundations for projects (business case, budget follow-up, accounting principles).
Advanced presentation skills and ability to summarize core messages.
Ability to communicate, influence, and persuade peers and leadership.
Synthesis skills to communicate key messages to non-technical audiences.
