Stress Analysis Methods Engineer: An exciting opportunity is now available as a stress engineer in the structure simulation method team at Airbus inside the new Processes & Central Airframe Authority organization within a fully transnational department. The Processes & Central Airframe Authority team is composed of highly experienced Airframe engineers in Design, Stress, Materials & Processes, and Flight Test Installation. Thanks to the integration of these multiple skills and the high level of expertise, this team is a referent for transverse Airframe engineering activities and manages the associated Technical Authority delegation.Your tasks and responsibilitiesDefining general and detailed component analysis methods and processes for metallic structures for all programs.Prototypes, final solution (C++, Fortran, Python) and technical specification to implement stress analysis methods into stress tools.Technical contribution to support Specific Design Work teams.Technical documentation (reports, memos) containing validation of the methods by test for certification.Desired skills and qualificationsEducated to degree level (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering.Stress analysis of metallic/composite structures.Final Element modeling techniques (Abaqus, Nastran, Hypermesh).Overall Structure Mechanics.Methods & Tools development, design patterns.Programming languages (C+/Fortran/Python).Language Skills: Negotiation level of English, Spanish.Not a 100% match?
