About Business line/FunctionThe Finance Strategy function (FS;) ensures, for the BNP Paribas Group, the production and publication of accounting and financial management statements necessary for the management of the Group, financial and tax optimization along with the external growth strategy.
It also plays an alert role vis-à-vis of the General Management.
FS; counts +1800 employees specialized in Accounting, Reporting, Performance Steering, Tax, Control, Regulatory and Project to mention a few of them.
FS; is organized around 3 mutualized regional platforms (America, Europe, and Asia/Pacific), 1 Shared Finance Service center located in India, Central FS; teams located in Paris and decentralized Finance, Tax and Development departments located in each BNPP country presence.
The Infinity EMEA Finance Strategy Platform is the Regional EMEA Mutualized platform and Group platform delivering services that cover the whole financial dimension: Accounting production activities, reporting, control, transformation projects, IT, and GDO.
Our platform serves EMEA Countries and CFOs, Group Head Office, and also worldwide entities when it refers to projects (Transformations IT).
The Oxygen Finance Strategy Platform is located in a dual location Madrid and Lisbon.POSITION PURPOSE: The main objective of the Cost Monitoring unit is to support the Infinity Managers in understanding their costs and assisting them in the definition of their Forecast/Budget.
The team is also the owner of the re-invoicing process, being the SPOC of the Infinity beneficiaries.
Additionally, the team will be in charge of identifying and implementing some smart saving initiatives.RESPONSIBILITIES: The Cost Monitoring Responsible is primarily responsible for overseeing the correct implementation of all the ongoing projects/initiatives under the scope of the team and the correct reporting on the status of all of them.
The responsible of the team needs to be able to communicate with Infinity EMEA Managers on a regular basis and provide them relevant information to support them in the decision-making.
Therefore, it is necessary to have a proactive approach in the exchanges with the management in order to propose and advise new initiatives that will help the teams to monitor cost and headcount figures.
In addition, there will be necessary to interact with the responsible of other transversal initiatives and develop a fluent dialogue and coordination.Typology of initiatives on the scope:Costs and budget definition control, in partnership with CO3 CareControl, Assist and Report the actual expenses figures to the Infinity EMEA Management and beneficiaries (re-invoicing)Participate in the analysis of the Infinity Transformation initiativesIdentify and Implement Smart Saving initiativesFollow up of the HC and FTE figures, actuals, budget, etc.TECHNICAL BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:Business school, University Graduate, Master Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering Degree.
+6 years of experience in Finance (Financial Accounting, Reporting, Business/financial analysis), including audit and consultancy firms and managing teams.
Experience of working in an international environment.
Fluent in English is mandatory and French is a plus.
Analytical skills, ability to prioritize, strong analytical mindset, organizational capacities.Management and leadership.
Negotiation and problem-solving mindset.
Communication skills (good interpersonal communication, teamwork, and adaptability).
