.Ref.VK September MASS COMMODITIES FUNCTIONSWe are currently recruiting the EU Quality Director to be based in their regional HQs in Madrid.As the Europe Quality Director, you will ensure rigorous compliance with internal and external policies, standards, certifications, and procedures related to Quality. This role is crucial in aligning with the group's strategic vision, adhering to current legal frameworks, and fulfilling client requirements, encompassing Quality Policies, Regulations, Controls, and Food Safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:Participate in the development of the company's global strategy, providing expert guidance on quality and collaborating in setting organizational objectives, implementation plans, and crisis protocols.Oversee the definition of quality processes, standards, guidelines, and KPIs, ensuring the standardization and implementation of quality accreditations and policies to achieve strategic goals.Evaluate and prioritize outsourcing opportunities from a quality perspective, managing the selection and performance of providers.Analyze deviations from quality policies and processes, determining and implementing corrective actions.Consolidate and prioritize the Quality project pipeline to inform the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and propose the annual budget.Review the company's strategic objectives and roadmap, raising exceptions to ensure alignment with Quality goals and supporting final decisions.Ensure comprehensive auditing of Quality policies and standards across the company's production and operations.Lead the resolution of Quality crises that may significantly impact the company.Oversee the development of compliance reports for cleaning standards, policies, guidelines, and supplier services.Ensure Quality's involvement in the development of industrial processes and machinery business cases.Guarantee Quality participation in supply and production planning, recommending modifications as necessary.Drive the implementation of improvement proposals for new or optimized product development across various levels of the Quality function.Evaluate the legal scope for new or modified products, ensuring food safety compliance.Implement continuous improvement initiatives for new or optimized processes within the Quality function.Validate and review Quality continuous improvement plans, assessing impacts, costs, and resource requirements.Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Quality function by identifying and implementing enhancement initiatives.Manage certifications related to customers, suppliers, and third export countries, ensuring Quality alignment with the company's sales and compliance strategy.Assess and mitigate emerging risks related to food safety and new quality regulations.Qualifications:Higher Education in Food Science / Veterinary.Strong operations / manufacturing related background including ability to deal with different cultures / countries
