S464 - Backup System Engineer

At Balusian, we are looking for network engineers with at least 10 years of experience, with extensive knowledge of:Spanning BackupVeem BackupAnsible or other automation technologiesTechnical Support Responsibilities: Provide strategic guidance for Backup services as required.Manage Backup projects.Assist the Service Owner and Team Lead in the delivery of ICC Service Delivery Agreements (SDAs) to customers.Assist with the coordination, preparation, presentation, and implementation of proposals and projects linked to the SDAs.Be a go-to expert for troubleshooting Backup related issues.Liaise with Partner Organizations on a service management basis.Provide support for all Backup Services SDAs.Design, install, configure, and support Backup infrastructure.Assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of automation tasks using Ansible and related technologies.Provide on-call support (either on-site or remotely using VPN connectivity) outside normal working hours as required on a rotational basis.Other Backup administration tasks as required:Co-ordinate with vendor support for resolution of problems and incidents.Perform troubleshooting and performance tuning activities as required.Assist in the planning and running of disaster recovery tests.Perform capacity management and reporting as required.Produce documentation as required.Perform support activities during planned maintenance windows outside of normal working hours.Perform other duties as required.Desirable Certifications: Backup vendor certifications.ITIL Service Management intermediate or expert.Prince2 foundation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
