As Senior Business Development Manager you bring Air Transport Industry and Technology subject matter expertise and business acumen of our customers' business processes.
You will be accountable for building & successfully implementing the business development strategy with Sales across Europe to achieve profitable growth and client satisfaction for SITA Airport Business Line.
Reporting to the Vice-President Business Development, you will be a part of the Europe Business Development Team responsible for driving SITA Passenger and Baggage services business growth.
You will be leading and coaching a team of up to five (5) skilled Business Developers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Define and execute a Business Development Growth strategy and the associated Operating Plan. Develop a multi-million Qualified pipeline of new business opportunities. Identify, develop and support closing of key Market Maker opportunities. Increase Transformation revenue level selling new innovative solutions from the SITA Airport Business Line. Innovate with Customers achieving Market Firsts and successfully completing Proofs of Concept/Value. Coach and develop people skills toward a high performing Business Development Team. Drive cultural change, lead by example, grow talents, and create future leaders. Qualifications: WHO YOU ARE: 8+ years proven success in generating revenue growth in a sales and/or business development role. 5+ years of experience in the Air Transport Industry, preferably in the Airport domain. Track record of successfully selling IT and Technology solutions. Track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets, and winning large deals (10M$+). Track record of successfully leading teams, building relationships with sales and across the organization. Track record of successfully developing/implementing strategic business development plans. Track record of building client relationships at Senior/Executive Management level. NICE-TO-HAVE: Track record of developing Biometrics and Identity Management projects. Track record of managing large and complex bids. Languages: English: Fluent Second Language: Spanish, French or German.
