Your Role With your expertise in AR/AP and relevant business processes, you will be responsible for accounting and approval processes in our Accounting department, acting as the main contact for other departments.
Review, correct and secure current accounting records and the workflow-based approval process.
Be involved in intercompany reconciliation.
Support preparation of financial statements (completeness check of booked revenues, plausibility check of transaction data, sample check, report preparation, ad-hoc analyses, etc.).
Ensure payment transactions including currency account control, sparring partner for Treasury.
Sparring partner for Finance & Controlling, Operations, IT, Sales and Procurement.
Proactively and continuously develop existing processes (especially on and in our ERP system Dynamics BC365/BC15 as well as in the continuous involvement and development of the accounting process).
Lead the communication with international partners/vendors.
What you bring 4+ years of experience in a comparable position in accounting and financial statements according to Spanish GAAP.
Experience in a fast-growing environment or the logistics industry is a plus.
As a team player, you are committed to fostering collaboration as well as constant functional knowledge sharing.
You are business fluent in Spanish and English.
