What's the role? In this role you will join the HERE Data Acquisition & Community (DAC) team, which supports the development and implementation of the sub-regional data acquisition and community strategy.
As Community Analyst, you will help us to identify, partner and capture the universe in Spain of existing sources and information to be able to update Speed Limit attributes, supporting with the completion of this attribute for the ISA project.
You will also support us in monitoring activities to track the data,
as well as with the analysis and processing of the information in Map Creator or deriving it internally to other HERE teams.
Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret the Speed Limit situation versus reality in each Spanish municipality and region to determine the actions to take to have the freshest data. Find the right contacts, sources, and newspaper alerts available for each municipality and region. Establish a contact network with municipality departments and other public authorities to have updated information and future collaboration channels. Register contact and data information in our CRM system (SUGAR). Follow up on internal sourcing status process.
You will report, track, and coordinate activities by municipality and region to have a clearer overview of the situation in the country. You will directly improve Speed Limit information of the HERE database by making edits and resolving Map Alerts in Map Creator. You will analyze and validate the available sources using GIS tools. Who are you? 2+ months working as an intern at HERE, with a Master or Bachelor's degree in Spatial Sciences. Other experiences working with location data, mapping tools, and customer-provider relationships will be welcomed. Knowledge of mapping and GIS tools. Confidence in convincing people externally about our needs to achieve our strategic objectives. Good computer skills with knowledge of MS Office. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work and understand diverse personality types and roles. Spanish mother tongue speaker and fluent in English.
