Other requests may be studied to accommodate special needs. - Flexible working hours for work-life balance. - Tax-free optional benefits: restaurant ticket, nursery ticket, transport pass, private health insurance for employees and families.Qualifications and ExperienceWe are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic person aiming to significantly improve his or her career perspectives in both public and private sectors.The successful applicant should have the competencies of the R1 category.Required qualification/skills/experience:- Master in Geomatics, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.- Knowledge of methods for active and passive remote sensing data.- Knowledge of methods for post-processing of satellite-based active and passive remote sensing products.- Experience with methods for biomass retrieval.- Experience with the use of geomatics data: DEM, orthoimages, maps, topographic data, GNSS, etc.- Experience with analysis and interpretation of different types of remote sensing data: raster, vector, and geodatabases.- Experience with GIS tools.- Good oral and writing English skills.- Publication record in scientific peer-reviewed journals.- Participation in national and international research projects.Other skills that are valuable, but not mandatory:- Experience in international research centres.- Knowledge of Google Earth Engine and Machine Learning techniques.- Experience in the preparation of research grant proposals for funding agencies.Even if you do not meet all the requirements, we encourage you to apply.
