.A vacancy for an Industrial Innovation Project Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Sevilla.
The successful applicant will join the Manufacturing Engineering Department.Tasks & AccountabilitiesYour main tasks and responsibilities will include:Leadership and Management of Innovation and Digitalization projects to cover the technological needs of legacy and future programs in Manching and other Sites.Industrial technology research, rating, and selection in accordance with program needs and legal requirements.Contribution to manufacturing and service cluster for future programs.Alignment with the Operations Strategy and previous financial feasibility studies to ensure accordance with official regulations and targeted efficiency of projects.Identification of similar approaches from other plants and merging projects into a single transversal initiative for innovating industrial processes.Analysis of existing and new manufacturing processes, digital tools, systems, and interfaces, documenting the gaps among them.Supporting/driving cultural change within Airbus Defence and Space by knowledge sharing through lessons learned and participating in agile teams.Defining, describing, running, and supporting several Proof of Concepts (PoC) to evaluate digital tools using a testing environment.Defining, developing, executing, and supporting DDMS work stream activities for Manufacturing, such as:Defining and documenting technical requirements, use cases, and user stories (according to Scrum methodology).Building diagrams to document the data flow needed.Direct communication with developers to support the deployment of tool customization.Project objectives are to reduce the time to market and overall product costs (NRC and RC), allowing co-design with assigned major subcontractor while considering digital continuity of internal and external data generated.Required SkillsMaster's Degree in Engineering.Fluent in Spanish and English.Project Management skills and economic knowledge.Open-minded for collaborative ways of working transnationally and transculturally.Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.Well-established network and stakeholder management capabilities.Affine to technology, technology improvement, and digitalization, with experience in Dassault Systems Applications (e.G., Catia V5, Catia V6, Aprisio, 3DX).Working background in the aerospace industry and experience in Manufacturing Engineering processes.Experience in agile product development or PMP is a plus.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth
