In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the aerodynamics performance, stability, and flight dynamics of modified aircrafts.
You will use tools, simulations and testing to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance of designs while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure project results are met respecting budget, schedule, and quality targets.Main ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and optimize aerodynamics performance and flight characteristics of modified aircrafts.Evaluate stability and control qualities to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.Use tools like computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and simulation to support design and testing.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to balance performance, cost and structural integrity.Analyze vibration and buffeting.Analyze and mitigate aeroelastic effects such as flutter and divergence.Support flight testing campaigns.Perform trade-off studies to ensure designs meet mission requirements and regulatory constraints.Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation to support design decisions and project milestones.
Support certification process.Participate in flight tests and the corresponding reports as required.Comply with all established safety, certification, and customer requirements under the supervision of a Lead Engineer.Participate in Engineering tools development defining methods and guidelines.Provide Engineering Support as required.
