About our partner
On behalf of our partner OBI, we are looking for the best talent to join rindus.
OBI is one of the largest multinational home improvement supplies retailing companies. This part of OBI is based in Cologne (Germany) and operates 645 stores in Europe, of which 349 are in Germany. You will work remotely on our partner's project but you will be embedded into a local team from our office in Málaga (Spain).
What you'll be doingYou will be expected to maintain systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects.
Attend and contribute to relevant team meetings, planning sessions, reviews, retrospectives and circle meetings.
Work alongside team members to ensure tasks are completed and goals met.
Actively pursue learning opportunities to ensure up to date with relevant technology, methodology and processes.
Merging of different software in a common tech stack, adaptation and migration.
Creation of new software from scratch bringing in your own ideas along the business strategy.
Expansion and maintenance of existing software.
Extension and construction of interfaces to Google, Amazon and other data service providers.
Cross-team work and independent communication with specialists.
What you'll bringYou are deeply experienced in Java Spring Boot, ideally Java version 17.
You are experienced in Microservice architecture and/or database architecture.
Knowledge of Git as well as CI/CD.
Comfortable using Docker for services containerization in the different environments.
Experienced in Unit testing and Jenkins.
Experience in Monitoring with Grafana/Instana would be a plus.
Nice to have are experiences building REST APIs.
Knowledge of Kafka is useful.
Cloud platform (AWS/Azure) experiences are welcome.
Habituated to work in an agile environment, using agile methodologies like SCRUM.
General understanding of Javascript frontends like Angular, Vue.js and backend like node.js nice to have.
You are fluent in English (written and spoken).
