The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in petrochemical projects. This role involves reviewing rotating equipment datasheets and supporting documentation, participating in technical clarification meetings with vendors, and designing cost-effective equipment modifications to enhance safety, reliability, and throughput.Key Responsibilities:Review & Documentation:Review rotating equipment datasheets and supporting documentation.Participate in technical clarification meetings with vendors.Design & Implementation:Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability, and throughput.Develop project specifications in collaboration with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.Develop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs.Problem Solving & Collaboration:Discuss and resolve complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers, and customers.Plan and design new production processes.Project Management:Manage projects using engineering principles and techniques.Produce detailed specifications and outline designs.Recommend modifications based on prototype test results.Research & Analysis:Utilize research, analytical, conceptual, and planning skills, including mathematical modeling and computer-aided design.Consider cost, safety, and time constraints in all engineering solutions.Monitoring & Commissioning:Monitor and commission plant systems and processes.Educational & Technical Requirements:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.Experience: 10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on petrochemical projects.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office and other relevant engineering software.
