Office Location: Toulouse, France OR Madrid Spain (onsite role)Contract Length: 6 Months – With likelihood of extension or conversion to permanent roleFull-time contract 8 Hours per day, 5 days per weekPay rate: Open – Priority here is finding the right person!Languages: Only English is essentialStart Date: As soon as candidate can be available – The sooner the better.Job Responsibilities:Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for robotic arms, covering functional, performance, and reliability testing.Work on the testing of the Endurance docking system which includes robotic elements such as Gripper and 6 DOF Robotic arm and vision navigation systemDesign and execute test cases to verify the correct behaviour of robotic arms in various operational scenarios.Utilize simulation tools like MATLAB and Simulink to model and simulate robotic systems, enabling early-stage testing and validation.Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing to assess the integration of robotic arms with other system components.Perform system-level integration testing to ensure seamless operation of the robotic system.Analyse test data to identify potential issues and propose improvements to the design and implementation.Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to troubleshoot and resolve testing-related problems.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics testing methodologies and tools.Required Skills and Experience:Strong understanding of robotics fundamentals, including kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.2 + Years experience testing RoboticsExperience testing Robotic Arms is highly desired.Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages.Experience with MATLAB and Simulink for simulation and modelling.Familiarity with robotic testing frameworks and tools.Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with robotic arm calibration and alignment.Knowledge of aerospace and defence industry standards and regulations.Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
