Tasks An exciting opportunity to work as a Robotics & Control Engineer solutions in an aerospace technology company. You can lead a team of passionate GNC engineers and contribute to GNC design and development activities. Working with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the research and development of guidance and navigation control systems and their deployment on final UAV products.

Define the Control Laws and Algorithm Architecture for the onboard automation systems, including the Flight Controls and Navigation Systems. Identifying possible failure modes and defining robust contingency Control Laws to maintain safe flight. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system engineers and mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to plan, design, develop, and integrate GNC solutions into UAVs. Defining and running computer simulations for the platforms (e.g., Matlab & Simulink). Work Package Management of a defined scope: actively driving the project work forward to achieve the agreed deliverables on time and within budget. Ensuring the integration of the GNC algorithms with the embedded system and executing validation testing. Requirements Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in one of the following: GNC Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. 3+ years of industry or postgraduate experience in GNC Engineering. Strong applied math foundations; ability to derive algorithms related to guidance, navigation, and control (GNC). Experience in linear and non-linear feedback control system design. Experience with Kalman filtering. Experience with sensor fusion algorithms. Experience with simulation development. Experience in C development for embedded systems. Experience with version control systems like Git, enabling effective collaboration and code management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, crucial for algorithm development and data analysis. Good communication skills, enabling effective collaboration. Fluent English Speaker.
