Job Description:
A vacancy for a Reliability, Maintainability and Testability (RMT) Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe.
Reliability, Maintainability and Testability (RMT) is a major core process of Support Engineering and Integrated Logistic Support. The RMT process is fully integrated with design, development and verification processes.
One of the main functions and roles of RMT is to participate in development activities to ensure Design to Services.
Main Responsibilities:
Establish and agree with the Design Office and Suppliers the Testability Requirements and ensure that they are implemented in the design.
Contribution to Testability design documentation (FMEA, Failure Catalogue, BIT concept document, Testability Analysis, SW ICD).
Attend Design Reviews with Design Office and Customers.
Representation of Testability discipline within multi-disciplinary design teams.
Link to Design Offices (concurrent engineering) and Suppliers regarding Testability issues (requirements, deliverables).
Contribute to Testability verification: support for testing.
Support and attend Design reviews.
Support for CMS definition and development.
Support to other areas in Customer Services (ILS, Technical Publications, Services Program and Program integration).
Conduct technical investigations to establish the root cause of in-service problems and recommend cost-effective corrective action(s) to be implemented.
Prepare and develop Testability procedures, guidelines and technical reports for the customer.
Answer Customer queries dealing with Testability issues.
Define relevant design requirements and integrate into design requirement documentation.
Allocate relevant design requirements within Product- / System- Structure.
Contribute to Testability concept and related analysis (fault detection and isolation), test and demonstration plans.
Perform Testability analyses, test and demonstration to identify and predict product behaviour, capabilities and characteristics.
Influence Design on basis of Testability analyses, test and demonstration results.
Analyse Testability requirements.
Provide Testability Reports.
Interface very closely to other disciplines within development process.
Qualifications:
Young graduate. Airbus Internship will be a plus.
