Centrient Pharmaceuticals is the leading manufacturer of beta-lactam antibiotics, and a provider of next generation statins and anti-fungals.We produce and sell intermediates, active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms.We stand proudly at the centre of modern healthcare, as a maker of essential and life-saving medicines.With our commitment to Quality, Reliability and Sustainability at the heart of everything we do, our over 2200 employees work continuously to meet our customers' needs.We work towards a sustainable future by actively participating in the fight against antimicrobial resistance.Founded 150 years ago as the Nederlandsche Gist- en Spiritusfabriek, our company was known as Gist Brocades.Headquartered in Rotterdam (Netherlands), we have production facilities and sales offices in China, India, the Netherlands, Spain, the United States and Mexico.Centrient Pharmaceuticals is wholly owned by Bain Capital Private Equity, a leading global private investment firm.The I&TD Team has a vacancy in its team for the following position:Project & Program Manager I&TDWith a new Project Management Office methodology being implemented in the organization, the Innovation & Technology Development (I&TD) Project Management Office is implementing such methodology into our team.Project and program management has been identified as one critical area for the success of our innovation efforts.The Project & Program Manager I&TD will be integral to the I&TD group, working closely in cross-functional teams to effectively deliver I&TD new pipeline projects and programs.Additionally, this role will contribute to PMO structure, ensuring implemented processes and structure are fit for purpose for I&TD projects while maintaining consistency, and contributing to the establishment new ways of working where needed.The main activities and responsibilitiesProject Management:Operationally manage I&TD's current and upcoming projects.Support project teams through coordination of meetings, agenda and materials preparation, drafting of project management plan including scope, timelines, costs and risks.Work closely with Scientific leads, internal stakeholders and liaise external parties (partnerships, collaborators and CROs) to deliver project work to agreed scope and timelines.Track project progress against baseline timelines, costs and milestones and report to I&TD leadership and governance Committees.Be a member of the project team, proactively raising issues and working with the project team to resolve them.Manage operationally relevant administrative and contractual tasks (e.g. placing procurement requests, updates to contract agreements with 3rd party organisations).Project Management:Align with I&D PMO to ensure implementation of I&TD PM standards and best practices.Identify and raise potential opportunities for operational efficiency.RequirementsThe Ideal Candidate:Bachelor or Master's degree in relevant discipline ideally with scientific / engineering education.Minimum of 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.Demonstrated project management skills, preferably in biotech and/or pharmaceutical industries.Experience using project management tools preferred.Experience engaging both internal and external stakeholders.Ideally, GMP and Compliance knowledge at pharma industry and high regulated environment.Fluent proficiency in English language (written and spoken).Detail-oriented, professional and proactive.Good communication skills.Experience working in multicultural environments.Terms and reward:We offer a local contract in a challenging, comprehensive, operational environment, with many opportunities for personal input and growth and plenty of discussions with other professionals.The organization is very flat.
