Your role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to safeguard customer information, secure transactions, and uphold our reputation. You'll lead investigations into suspicious activities, fraudulent transactions, and alerts, tracking patterns swiftly to maintain platform integrity. Key Responsibilities: Fraud Prevention: Develop and implement fraud detection and prevention strategies for online transactions.
Monitor transactional data and patterns to identify potentially fraudulent activities.
Collaborate with payment processors and fraud detection vendors to enhance fraud prevention measures.
Conduct regular audits to identify vulnerabilities and address security gaps.
Compliance: Stay up-to-date on ecommerce regulations, payment industry standards, and data protection laws.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including PCI DSS for payment card security.
Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs tailored to the ecommerce industry.
Risk Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to identify emerging risks and trends in online transactions.
Prepare regular risk reports and presentations for senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies based on data analysis and risk assessments.
Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in risk management and or fraud prevention within the ecommerce industry.
Strong understanding of ecommerce operations, digital payments, and online fraud schemes and systems.
Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices.
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Experience with risk management software and tools.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
