Job DescriptionCompany from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for candidates for the position of Rig Electrician for an offshore project located in Egypt.Mission:According to superior instructions, carry out daily maintenance and checks of electrical equipment ensuring full respect of operative safety rules.Tasks:Be safety-minded during all works and behaviors, use compulsory protective equipment, and ensure the same for subordinates.Carry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan.Ensure that before any maintenance activity is started, a proper risk evaluation is carried out, precautions are taken, and the work permit is signed.Attend safety drills and meetings held on the rig.Apply all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Saipem and the Operator.Promptly report any safety hazard, accident, near-miss accident, and non-conformance through proper channels.Maintain good housekeeping in own working area.Maintain working areas, tools, equipment, and safety harnesses in a safe, clean, tidy, and orderly manner.Properly maintain electrical systems, switchboards, related electrical equipment, SCR control system, EO System, and all electrical instrumentation including high/low voltage and DC System as per AMOS system.Requirements:The candidates must have experience on Semi-Sub / Drillships (not Jack-Up only).The candidates must be available soon.The candidates must have experience in this role and be able to work in Europe.Benefits:Position: Rig ElectricianLocation: Egypt Offshore / WorldwideContract start: As soon as possible (notice period will be taken into consideration)Contract duration: 12 months (renewable)Work / leave rotation: 28 working days paid / 28 unpaid leave daysWorking hours: 12 hours x 7 days a weekSalary: Overtime payment applicableProbationary Period: 60 daysNotice Period: 30 daysAccommodation: Provided by the companyTransportation: Economy class provided by the company at the beginning, end of contract, and for each work leave rotation cycle.Insurance: Medical, Death and Disability, Life, and Income Protection#J-18808-Ljbffr
