We're backed by international investors, including US investors Sequoia and Tiger, having raised a total of $938M this year alone.We're looking for someone amazing to join us at Getir as our Rider Safety Manager for Spain.You'll ultimately work to keep our riders safe while they deliver to our customers, work to reduce road traffic accident rates and ensure that we always put Rider safety first!What you will do :Develop effective policies and procedures relating to Rider SafetyImplement Rider procedures and make sure it is adhered to/keeping up to date with law and regulations e.G.
accident reporting, trends and insurance claimsMaintain an up to date record of all rider incidents and ensure it is readily available for inspectionManage all processes related to courier safety behaviour and communicate findings to relevant stakeholdersConduct regular site audits/inspections, report on findings and advise on possible actions.Manage all processes related to fines and penalties i.E payment and recollection processLiaise with the wider Rider Operations team to create and implement a strategy for the reduction in road traffic accident rates and improved rider safety.Coach and train field staff to implement rider safety principles and programmesRequirements :3 to 5 years experience in Rider/Courier safetyPrior experience developing Safety processes from scratch and executing them, ideally in delivery related businessesExperience in planning, performance metrics, process improvement and risk oriented perception.Resilience to ambiguity and ability to start from scratch, and a passion for keeping riders safe!Excellent communication skillsFluent in English & SpanishWork authorization in SpainBenefits :A once-in-a-career opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing mobile-commerce businesses in the worldCareer development opportunities and we really mean it when we say this.
