Having been awarded several grants from the European Commission's Horizon Program, we are seeking a Development Executive to join our team.
What will your role look like?As a Development Executive, you will focus on strengthening relationships with donors and strategic partners, while supporting our fundraising and business development initiatives.
You will work to expand our impact and contribute to building alliances that promote a more ethical and fair technological future.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Donor and Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and build relationships with donors, partners, and potential customers aligned with our mission of responsible AI and ethical technology.Fundraising and Business Development Support: Assist in the preparation of key materials (proposals, presentations, reports) for donor meetings and grant applications.Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing donors, funders, and partners, addressing their inquiries and effectively communicating our work in AI auditing and bias mitigation.Administrative and Organizational Support: Manage documentation related to donor relationships and funding agreements, ensuring proper record-keeping in our CRM system.Research and Insights: Conduct ongoing research on emerging trends, funding opportunities, and potential collaborators within the responsible AI landscape.Program and Service Understanding: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our solutions, like ITACA, our AI audit tool, to effectively communicate their benefits and contributions to promoting ethical AI.RequirementsWhat will make you succeed with us?
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for social impact and ethical technology.Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with a diverse range of donors, partners, and clients.Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a focus on multitasking and meeting deadlines.Familiarity with the responsible AI landscape, including algorithmic bias, AI ethics, and transparency.Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and a willingness to adapt to new tools and environments.Have previous experience in business development or fundraising in the technology or social sector.We would love it if you also:

RequirementsMust-haves:
Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Completed or in-progress degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated and disciplined.Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.Strong alignment with the organization's mission and values, demonstrating a commitment to our goals and vision.
