About the Role: Your main mission will be to provide a consistent, professional service in all aspects of internal and external communications; ensure revenue is maximized through the professional and efficient functions of the Revenue Department, follow the daily task list and carry out all additional duties as specified by the Director of Revenue Management.
Responsibilities Maximizing revenue and yield through analysis of business trends, the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents for presentation in weekly and monthly meetings, highlighting areas of opportunity and ensuring the delivery and maintenance of optimum revenue management and pricing strategies on an ongoing basis.
Revenue Management reporting and auditing and providing forward-looking information for the purposes of forecasting, targeting need areas, areas of opportunity and balancing financial expectations.
Accurately generating, processing and updating property and market Revenue Management reports for property, corporate office, and owners.
Assisting with inventory management and forecasting methods for both FIT and group business, to ensure optimal strategies and controls are in place to minimize displacement and maximize revenue and total hotel revenues.
Monitoring and providing feedback on the hotel's effective use of Hyatt systems, tools and procedures in areas of inventory management, revenue management, and business intelligence to maximize Hyatt's competitive advantage in the market.
Working alongside teams within the business and the management team to establish business needs.
Defining new data collection and analysis processes, identifying patterns and trends in data sets and reporting results and recommendations back to the business to improve performance.
Identifying, investigating, and analyzing business processes, procedures and work practices, identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices and system functionality and behavior.
Assisting in the deployment of transient/group inventory restrictions and pricing strategies designed to maximize revenue from a rate and occupancy perspective.
Assisting the Director of Revenue Management in ensuring that the hotel has the optimal mix to maximize revenues and profitability.
Liaising with Account Managers and Directors on rate/inventory suitability of all potential group business
