JOB SPECIFICATION Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Pharmacy/Pharmacology or equivalent.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Healthcare - Pharmacy or equivalent.
Computer Literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written, with strong Interpersonal Skills.
Can work with minimum Supervision.
JOB DESCRIPTION Compound/Dispense and Read Prescriptions both simple and complex, taking into consideration incompatibilities using sound judgment and due care.
Drug Information Specialist – Provides drug information on uses, indications, drug interactions, and contraindications to patients, customers, or end users.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the dissemination and confirmation regarding correct information about patient status, condition, or certain illnesses of the patient.
Complies with the requirements and standards of WHO Good Dispensing Practices set by local regulatory agencies.
Receive/Resolve customer complaints about drug products and coordinate the same with the supplier or source of the product.
Provide additional services (if applicable) such as taking BP of the customer, instruction on nebulization, test for blood sugar, 12 lead ECG, and provide immunization (vaccination) as well, but must be certified.
(Optional) Monitor inventory of stocks and request replenishment as needed.
Ensure that FEFO/FIPO (First Expiry, First Out/First In First Out) is maintained.
Avoid dispensing of outdated drug products.
Monitor storage conditions of the drug products.
Ensure that they are properly sealed and secured in a correct container and temperature.
Controlled medications/Hazardous/Dangerous drugs must be properly secured in a double locked cabinet.
Respect the privacy of patients and keep information confidential.
Ensure that simple compounding preparations are carried out in a well-cleaned area and double-check computations before actual compounding.

Regularly check the FDA Website www.fda.gov.ph for advisory on non-registered drug products, counterfeit, and other updates on FDA Regulations.
