Position: Within the Travel Retail Europe management team of LVMH Fragrance Brands (Parfums Givenchy & Kenzo), the Retail Manager is responsible for:
Developing sell-out and improving market share in collaboration with the Area ManagerEnsuring that the Brands' image is in line with all guidelinesManaging the Beauty Consultants' team (BCs) on a daily basisThe main responsibilities and missions of the Retail Manager are as follows:
Develop the Retail market share of LVMH Fragrance Brands:Define and support the sales targets for each POS on a yearly/monthly/weekly basisVisit the points of sales of the area on a regular basis (at least 60% of the work time)Ensure adapted stock levels by working hand in hand with Shop Managers and the Area ManagerDevelop a close working relationship with Shop Managers (sharing key business data, negotiating local opportunities, defining targets, presenting the brands' strategy, etc.
)Suggest points of improvement and identify opportunities for sell-out developmentComplete and send activity reports to management including, but not exhaustive, sales, shop visits, visual merchandising, trade, competition reports.Manage the sales force:Oversee the recruitment, evaluation and development of the LVMH Fragrance Brands BCsEnsure promoters' coverage on key events/period with trained and dedicated promoter teamsMotivate retailers' generic sales teams (presentation of new products, sharing of key figures & performances, motivation for objectives to reach, etc.
)Train, lead and coach the sales force:Train and coach BCs from LVMH Fragrance Brands in brand sales techniques, product novelties and catalogMake sure the BCs from LVMH Fragrance Brands follow the brand's guidelines (grooming, selling signature, role as ambassadors at the point of sales)Train the promoters before a key event/periodTrain the generic teams on noveltiesSet-up Brand events:Work with the Area Manager & the Category Manager to define the events' quantitative and qualitative objectivesHandle the set-up of POS events, following the Operational Marketing guidelinesHelp to define an optimal event schedule considering local and cultural eventsSend event reports and results to management (quantitative report, qualitative information & key learnings)Ensure the implementation of the Brands merchandising policy:Set-up merchandising planograms defined by the Operational Marketing and adapt them if necessary, to the sales space, according to passenger profile, assortment and salesOptimize the POS advertising material, visuals, testers per POS according to visual merchandising guidelinesUpdate the merchandising database and photo libraryProfile: Master's degree (such as from a business school) or equivalent.
Experience in Travel Retail would be a consequent advantage.
Fluent English and Spanish mandatory.
Portuguese and any additional language would be a plus.
