Join the denim heads making raw denim!Here's what we'll do together:As a Retail Compliancy Coordinator you are responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all retail compliancy policies and procedures within G-Star. This role ensures that G-Star adheres to local regulations, minimizes losses, and maintains a safe environment for customers and colleagues. The Retail Compliancy Coordinator will support during the process of opening and closing stores and owns and manages contracts and relationships with vendors, ensuring easy, cost-effective, and high-quality service standards in G-Star stores. You will work within the Retail Operations team and collaborate with multiple disciplines within the company and report to the Head of Retail Operations.Your tasks and responsibilities:Establish compliancy with all relevant (local) legislations, regulations, and industry standards.Develop and maintain compliancy policies and documentation.Create and roll out compliancy auditing tools obeying policies and regulations.Stay up to date on changes of legislations, regulations, and standards within the industry and implement necessary measurements.Develop, implement, and enforce health & safety policies, procedures, and standards compliant to local legislation.Develop and roll out external safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.Coordinate and conduct health & safety training programs for employees in close collaboration with the Retail Implementation Coordinator.Maintain and update emergency response plans and procedures.Develop and implement effective loss prevention programs and tools to minimize (internal) and external store theft, fraud, and shrinkage.Create, monitor, and analyze loss prevention metrics and reports to identify trends and develop corrective actions.Implement loss prevention tools during store openings.Analyze, identify, and report on potential risks and areas of improvement.Manage and analyze performance of external loss prevention tools (security, alarm gates, CCTV, smart safes).Investigate incidents/accidents, develop reporting tools, and implement preventive measures to minimize future risk.Train and educate store teams, district managers, and corporate teams on loss prevention best practices and procedures.What you bring to the table:Bachelor degree in Business Administration, occupational health & safety, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of demonstrable and relevant work experience.
