Here's what we'll do together:



As a Retail Compliancy Coordinator you are responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing all retail compliancy policices and procedures within G-Star. This role ensures that G-Star adheres to local regulations, minizes losses and maintains a safe environment for customers and colleagues.



The Retail Compliancy Coordinator will support during the process of opening and closing stores and owns and manages contracts and relationships with vendors, ensuring easy, cost effective and high-quality service standards in G-Star stores.



You will work within the Retail Operations team and collaborate with multiple disciplines within the company and report to the Head of Retail Operations.



Your tasks and responsibilities: Establish compliancy with all relevant (local) legislations, regulations, and industry standards Develop and maintain compliancy policies and documentation. Create and roll out compliancy auditing tools obeying policies and regulations. Stay up to date on changes of legislations, regulations and standards within the industry and implement necessary measurements. Develop, implement, and enforce health & safety policies, procedures, and standards compliant to local legislation. Develop and roll out (external) safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Coordinate and conduct health & safety training programs for employees in close collaboration with the Retail Implementation Coordinator. Maintain and update emergency (reponse) plans and procedures. Development and implementation of effective loss prevention programs and tools to minimize (internal) and external store theft, fraud and shrinkage. Create, monitor and analyze loss prevention metrics and reports to identify trends and develop corrective actions. Implementation of loss prevention tools during store openings. Analyze, identify and report on potential risks and areas of improvement. Manage and analyze performance of external loss prevention tooling (security, alarm gates, CCTV, smart safes). Investigate incidents/accidents, develop reporting (tools), and implement preventive measures to minimize future risk. Train and educate store teams, district managers and corporate teams on loss prevention best practices and procedures. What you bring to the table: Bachelor degree in Business Administration, occupational health & safety or a related field; 3 to 5 years of demonstrable and relevant work experience; Proven experience in vendor and project management Strong analytical and written communication skills; Strong knowledge of regulations to loss prevention, health and safty and retail compliancy Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude & hands-on mentality with focus on results. Excellent stakeholder management Ability to manage complex relationships between various professional disciplines and organizational levels & able to connect people to the bigger picture Excellent ability to connect people, manage changes, overcome resistance and persist in achieving mission Enthusiastic, self-starting and enjoys change; Fully comfortable working in English, both written and spoken; G-STAR Skill Set Analytical skills Ability to manage budgets and analyze financial data Strong organizational skills Customer and solution oriented Strong communications skills High level of integrity and professionalism Direct reports/ direct relations Head of Retail Operations Works closely with G-Star's corporate and Retail field teams Local HR/ Finance/ IT Here's what we bring to the table:
