YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish compliance with all relevant (local) legislations, regulations, and industry standards.
Develop and maintain compliance policies and documentation.
Create and roll out compliance auditing tools obeying policies and regulations.
Stay up to date on changes of legislations, regulations and standards within the industry and implement necessary measures.
Develop, implement, and enforce health & safety policies, procedures, and standards compliant to local legislation.
Develop and roll out (external) safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate and conduct health & safety training programs for employees in close collaboration with the Retail Implementation Coordinator.
Maintain and update emergency (response) plans and procedures.
Development and implementation of effective loss prevention programs and tools to minimize (internal) and external store theft, fraud and shrinkage.
Create, monitor and analyze loss prevention metrics and reports to identify trends and develop corrective actions.
Implementation of loss prevention tools during store openings.
Analyze, identify and report on potential risks and areas of improvement.
Manage and analyze performance of external loss prevention tooling (security, alarm gates, CCTV, smart safes).
Investigate incidents/accidents, develop reporting tools, and implement preventive measures to minimize future risk.
Train and educate store teams, district managers and corporate teams on loss prevention best practices and procedures.
HERE'S WHAT WE'LL DO TOGETHER:
As a Retail Compliancy Coordinator, you are responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing all retail compliance policies and procedures within G-STAR. This role ensures that G-STAR adheres to local regulations, minimizes losses and maintains a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
The Retail Compliancy Coordinator owns and manages contracts and relationships with vendors, ensuring easy, cost-effective and high-quality service standards in G-STAR stores.
You will work within the Retail Operations team and collaborate with multiple disciplines within the company and report to the Head of Retail Operations.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, occupational health & safety or a related field;
3 to 5 years of demonstrable and relevant work experience;
Proven experience in vendor and project management;
Strong analytical and written communication skills;
Strong knowledge of regulations related to loss prevention, health and safety and retail compliance;
Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude & hands-on mentality with focus on results;
Excellent stakeholder management;
Ability to manage complex relationships between various professional disciplines and organisational levels & able to connect people to the bigger picture;
Excellent ability to connect people, manage changes, overcome resistance and persist in achieving mission;
Enthusiastic, self-starting and enjoys change;
Fully comfortable working in English, both written and spoken!
