About the location: The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes.
The hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate.
Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance to uphold service standards.
Develop and implement menus, promotions, and pricing strategies to drive revenue.
Monitor inventory levels and manage food and beverage costs effectively.
Address guest feedback and resolve issues to enhance the dining experience.
Our Ideal Restaurant Manager candidate will have: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role in the hospitality industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of restaurant operations.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high levels of staff engagement and performance.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and PL statements, with the ability to analyze financial reports and make informed decisions.
Customer Service Focus: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service, with the ability to resolve guest complaints and ensure a memorable dining experience.
Operational Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management, inventory control, and health and safety regulations.
Menu Development: Experience in menu planning and development, working closely with chefs to create appealing offerings that align with guest preferences and seasonal trends.
Staff Training and Development: Ability to recruit, train, and mentor staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and fostering career growth within the team.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to staff, guests, and upper management.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, ensuring smooth restaurant operations.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing situations, including menu changes, staffing needs, and guest preferences.
Sales and Marketing Skills: Understanding of sales strategies and marketing techniques to promote the restaurant, drive sales, and increase guest loyalty.
Knowledge of Beverage Programs: Familiarity with beverage offerings, including wine, beer, and cocktails, with the ability to create and manage beverage menus.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail in all aspects of restaurant management, from food presentation to service standards.
Passion for Hospitality: A genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality industry, with a commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on industry trends.
Work Experience: 3 Years Degree: Professional / Technician Languages: Spanish / English Language Ability: High Language Proficiency: Fluent Time: Full Time Position Worker Type: Seasonal Must have the legal right to work in Spain and have fluency in English and Spanish.
