You will provide an efficient service and maximize revenue opportunities through effective booking management. Your day to day - Responsible for greeting, seating, cloakroom and farewell at our Gastromic Restaurant - Managing online Reservation system - Handling enquiry and reservations, by email and phone calls - Confirming reservations and large parties with cc confirmation - Understand and accurately follow the standard sequence of service - Responsible for cash handling -Staying one step ahead of our guests' needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations - Understand all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation. Focus on food allergies and intolerance - Observe and maintain the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the restaurant, and public area and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed - Attend staff training What We Need From You - Experience of 1 year or more in similar role in a luxury / high end environment - Excellent grooming standard - Able to work under pressure - Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and confidence - Good communication skills and genuine approach with our guests - Good problem-solving skills that will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories - Fluency in Spanish & English language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential - Familiarity with Symphony PMS and Restaurant reservations system What We Offer We give our people everything they need to succeed.
