Key Responsibilities .
The Supervisor of the Volta Restaurant at the Miiro Borneta Hotel plays a fundamental role in maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.
Their ability to manage staff, operations, and restaurant finances is crucial for success in this position.
The Supervisor is expected to always act professionally and courteously, reflecting the high standards of the restaurant and the hotel.
This document must be reviewed and understood by all Supervisors to ensure efficient operation and an exceptional experience for guests.
Staff Supervision Coordinate and supervise the team of waiters, assistant waiters, and cleaning staff.
Ensure that staff adhere to service standards and restaurant policies.
Conduct daily pre-service meetings to communicate objectives and assign tasks.
Provide ongoing training and constructive feedback to staff.
Resolve staff conflicts and mediate disputes when necessary.
Customer Service Ensure customers receive exceptional service and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
Monitor customer satisfaction and handle complaints efficiently and professionally.
Interact with customers to gather feedback on their experience and suggestions for improvements.
Ensure guests' expectations are met in terms of food and beverage quality.
Operations Management Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and serving of orders.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply orders when necessary.
Ensure all areas of the restaurant are clean and organized at all times.
Cash and Financial Management Supervise daily financial transactions and ensure proper money handling procedures are followed.
Prepare daily financial reports and communicate them to the Restaurant Manager.
Compliance with Regulations Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Requirements .
Demonstrable experience as a Restaurant Supervisor in a similar position in a high-end or busy restaurant.
Fluency in Spanish and English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
