PRE-REQUIREMENTS- Master, Bachelor's degree, Computer engineering or telecommunications.- At least 5 years of provable experience in a similar position.- B2 English Level.MISSIONAs a Linux Coordinator, you will join an experienced team of engineers and managers working on a range of technologies related to Linux, cloud, virtualization, storage, and automation.It is essential that the Linux Systems Coordinator is aware of the latest trends and technologies to keep the infrastructure up to date and secure, and to provide a focused roadmap for the future of the department.ROLES & ACTIVITIESTeam Management- Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure effective systems integration and compliance with agreements.- Manage and supervise a team of system administrators, providing guidance and support.- Report on the status of team projects and time spent by members using the internal methodology.Planning and Design- Helping to plan the strategic Linux department infrastructure.- Developing system architectures that meet business requirements.- Cost control and purchasing.- Licensing management.Implementation & Deployment- Drive the implementation and maintenance of systems to ensure availability, performance, and security.- Coordinate resources to deploy innovative solutions and upgrade existing systems.Administration and Maintenance- Supervise the daily work of the Linux team through the Scrum Master and the POs.- Ensure that security updates and patches are applied on a regular basis in accordance with the requirements committed to by the organisation.Monitoring and Optimisation- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and make adjustments to optimise resources.- Create a capacity plan to avoid future problems.Security- Implementing and maintaining security policies to protect systems and data.REQUIRED SKILLSSpecific Knowledge- Solid experience in the administration of Linux systems, storage, and basic applications.- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.- Budget execution and control.- Leadership skills and ability to coordinate teams.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Know-how- In-depth knowledge of networking and related protocols.- Expertise in task automation.- Knowledge in the deployment and administration of web servers and services (e.g. Apache, Nginx).- Knowledge of virtualisation and containerisation (e.g. VMWare, Kubernetes).- Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures on Linux systems.
