We are seeking a Resident Automation Technician to be based at our client's industrial plant in Barcelona, with the flexibility to travel approximately 20% of the time to other client sites, primarily within Spain, to perform service activities.
Responsibilities Ensure the proper functioning of the plant in compliance with KPIs and contractual performance standards.
Collaborate with technical offices on problem resolution, organization of on-site and remote interventions, procurement and shipment of spare parts, and proposals.
Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on installed machinery.
Carry out preventive maintenance activities according to the maintenance plans stipulated with the Customer and E80 Group provisions.
Participate in periodic meetings with Customer representatives.
Report to the Customer and E80 Group on performed activities, anomalies, and corrective actions.
Foster improvement activities, modifications, and potential solutions.
Provide on-the-job training to the Customer's personnel as needed.
Manage on-site spare parts, suggesting reorder points and necessary purchases.
Organize, manage, and update any safety documentation requested by the Customer.
Technical Requirements Technical qualification in electromechanics or industrial automation.
3+ years of professional experience as an Electromechanical or Field Service Technician, Electrician, or Automation Engineer in the automation or manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of Siemens PLC, Beckhoff, Fanuc, Allen Bradley; experience with Rockwell is a plus but not mandatory.

Strong analytical skills.
Curiosity about learning new technologies and managerial aspects.
Resilience under stress and the ability to work under pressure.
Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written); intermediate proficiency in English or Italian (spoken and written).
Other Requirements Valid driving license and access to a car.
Permanent right to work in Spain, with no restrictions.
