About the role As Reserve Account Executive of Cataluña in the highly influential top-end On-Trade which is the heartland of the premium spirits world, you will play a crucial role in building the status, equity, and rate of sale of our brands through the delivery of brand objectives.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Identification and segmentation of outlet universe: Identify all outlets falling in the description above within the assigned territory Assign outlets to relevant outlet categories based on segmentation guidelines and record them through the CRM tool Visit outlets in the assigned territory based on call frequency established for the relevant outlet category Driving distribution of Diageo brands: Identify partnership opportunities with outlets in the assigned territory Working closely with the Account Manager and the distributor's sales team, identify distribution, pouting, and activation opportunities in the territory Negotiate pouring, distribution e activation agreements based on company guidelines Implementation of Execution standards: Priority sales drivers (QDV3P) for relevant outlet categories are driven in line with minimum execution standards as defined by customer marketing. Promotional Activities for our brands are implemented detailed, in line with Diageo Europe activity calendar. Ad hoc incremental opportunities are identified In-outlet performance and execution levels are accurately supervised and measured in CRM system In case of non-compliance, identify and drive corrective actions.  Partnership: Working in coordination with the Account Manager of the territory in order to identify partnership opportunities with outlets served by wholesalers relevant for the RTC in the territory. Reporting line is to the Regional On Trade Manager, Reserve. Portfolio : Core, Reserve, Innovation
Customers : Cocktail bars, night clubs, Hotel, restaurants, wineshops identified as Trend leading account and pacemakers
About you To be successful in the role you must have:
Ability to manage the budget efficiently ensuring quota gain. Will to win; you get up every day with the strive to beat your predefined targets Passionate about what you do, love the night trade Commercial relationships: You need to be able to optimally influence Diageo customers to achieve win-win outcomes building long turn mutual profitable relationship. Executional demeanor; deliver vs predefined targets and pursue additional opportunities. Flexible communication style; Based on the type of buyer you need to be able to adapt to a most effective style. Quick learner; In order to promote the broad portfolio of products in the most effective way, you need to be able to absorb skills and knowledge quickly Willingness to work evenings and nights on a regular basis 2-3 years of Sales Experience is a strong plus (On trade is the preferred channel) Proficiency in Spanish and sophisticated level of English Be based in Barcelona Working with us Flexibility This is key to success in our business and many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time and compressed hours.
