The Opportunity The Esade Center for Social Impact (ECSI) aims to conduct research with rigor, reach, and relevance, focusing on social impact.
ECSI's primary role is to generate knowledge that enhances the strategies and activities of organizations in three key areas: Impact Investing Impact Entrepreneurship Impact Measurement and Management ECSI is seeking a Researcher to lead research projects.
Your Main Responsabilities We are looking for a researcher with strong qualitative research skills in the social impact space.
Ideally, the candidate will: Have experience with semi-structured interviews and both qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
Be focused on solving managerial challenges, eager to collaborate with academic researchers, and capable of working across disciplines.
The researcher will: Conduct desk research and literature reviews.
Collect and analyze data.
Collaborate with international partners and allies.
Coordinate with other team members.
Prepare interim and final deliverables (e.g., presentations, reports).
Work closely with supervising faculty and the ECSI manager in all areas.
Manage the research process according to the project timeline.
Qualifications Education: University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field, with a background in research methods.
Expertise in: Qualitative and quantitative research.
Impact investing, impact measurement and management, and social entrepreneurship.
Tools: Proficiency in Excel (graphing) and Qualtrics.
Languages: Proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
Experience: Proven project management experience in a research setting.
Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.
Commitment to academic rigor and practical impact on policy/practice.
