Researcher in Cathode Processing: CIC energiGUNE seeks a researcher to focus on the processing and characterization of cathodes for Li-ion solid-state batteries.

LOCATION: Europe, with the position based at CIC energiGUNE's facilities.
ELIGIBILITY/QUALIFICATION:
PhD in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
Proficiency in advanced characterization and analytical techniques.
Prior experience in battery research.
Strong English communication skills; Spanish or Basque proficiency beneficial.
Collaborative mindset and motivation for industry technology transfer.
Preferred knowledge of safety protocols.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Define and develop novel formulations for advanced electrode materials.
Scale up cathode material processing from lab to pilot line.
Produce pilot-scale cathode materials and perform characterization using various techniques.
Validate materials electrochemically.
Contribute to intellectual property development for industrialization.
